The Toronto Maple Leafs had yet another offensively dominant game on Thursday night as they beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-3. Auston Matthews, John Tavares and Morgan Rielly are off to absolutely incredible starts to the season and setting records while doing it. Anytime the words Auston Matthews and Wayne Gretzky are mentioned in the same sentence it should give Leafs' fans goosebumps and for good reason. Last night Matthews erased a mark that was set by "The Great One" as Matthews become the youngest player ever to record multiple points in each of his teams first five games of a season. Gretzky had originally done it at the age of 22, however Matthews just bested that by doing it at the age of 21.Let's sit back and enjoy this absolute phenom of a player.
