This morning we learned that the Auston Matthews court case had been dismissed.Matthews had stayed pretty silent about the situation until now as he met with reporters this morning. «I just want to reiterate again just how truly sorry I am for my actions and my behavior. I never meant to cause any distress to this woman and I can assure you that I've learned from my mistakes and my actions.» The Leafs forward also said he's learned from the situation. "Just how your actions can obviously affect other people. I made a mistake, and it's been a lesson learned. I'll try to put my best foot forward and just strive to be better in all aspects of my life." Hopefully we can now put all this behind us and Matthews stays out of the news for the wrong reasons.
