Babcock Gives Update On Jake Gardiner.
"Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Jake Gardiner's status for the coming games is in question. Gardiner missed a couple of games before the All-Star break because he was dealing with back spasms and it seems they might be flaring up again. The Leafs defenseman has missed the team's last two practices and his status for Wednesday is in question.Head coach Mike Babcock was asked if he would play tomorrow. "I don't know for sure ... obviously it's lingering. If you've watched Jake's game, he hasn't been as active as he normally is, skating like he normally can"
