"For the last month the Toronto Maple Leafs have been labelled as one of the top teams as having a chance to land St. Louis Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo. It's been kind of clear that the Blues aren't willing to give the captain the contract he's looking for and he'll become a free agent this week. Vegas along with Toronto have been consistently labeled as the two top landing spots for Pietrangelo. With Matt Niskanen announcing his retirement yesterday, the Philadelphia Flyers have also jumped into the mix.According to one NHL insider, the Pietrangelo to Toronto dream is likely over. "I'm not placing huge odds on Pietrangelo being the guy coming to Toronto" stated Elliotte Friedman on Sportsnet590 Tuesday. Do you believe the dream is over?
