"Finally some good news out of the injury report for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Leafs forward Zach Hyman confirmed to reporters after practice on Tuesday that he'll make his season debut on Wednesday against the New York Islanders. Hyman of course suffered a torn ACL in the playoffs last year against the Boston Bruins and played the full series despite the injury. He had surgery on April 29 and was given six months to recover. Hyman will jump onto the team's second line beside John Tavares and Kasperi Kapanen.
it's official: Hyman cleared medically and will play vs Islanders tomorrow. "I'm excited," he says. — mark zwolinski (@markzwol) November 12, 2019
