"The Toronto Maple Leafs and Minnesota Wild put together a trade on Thursday. According to NHL Insider Bob McKenzie reports that the Leafs have shipped a forward off to Minnesota. The rights to unsigned junior player Fedor Gordeev have been traded to the Wild. McKenzie adds that if the Wild are able to sign Gordeev, the Leafs will receive a 7th round pick. The 20 year old defenseman had 32 points in 63 games last year in the OHL between the Flint Firebirds and Guelph Storm last year.
MIN and TOR have a trade for the rights to unsigned junior Fedor Gordeev, who goes back into the draft if not signed before June 1. 7th round pick if he signs in MIN. Which is fully expected to happen. — Bob McKenzie (@TSNBobMcKenzie) May 30, 2019
