It's an epidemic that's been trouble not only in trouble but across the NHL. Dad's working their way into contract negotiations and not usually in any form of a helpful way. We saw it last year as Michael Nylander took a big part in making sure William Nylander held out until the last second. Now it seems that Paul Marner might be playing a big hand in the upcoming Mitch Marner-Leafs negotiations.Paul Marner has already made it clear publicly that he believes Mitch should be paid the same as Matthews last December. To top it off, Paul has been pushing for Mitch to be named the next captain of the Maple Leafs. This seems like it's going to be a very dramatic summer considering Darren Dreger's comments yesterday about how Marner will meet with other teams between the restricted free agency interview period. Do you see this situation becoming a complete disaster?
