The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas have plenty of questions to answer this offseason. Of course at the top of the list is finding a solution to Mitch Marner's restricted free agent situation, followed up by fixing up their blueline. Jake Gardiner is likely gone while both Ron Hainsey and Martin Marincin are also free agents. Gardiner will likely seek somewhere north of $6million a season which would be outside the Leafs' budget however the Leafs keep Hainsey around who had a $3million cap hit last year.Hainsey would likely take a bit of a pay cut and head coach Mike Babcock would love it as he's leaned on Hainsey multiple times over the last couple of years. Hainsey turns 39 next year which would be a risk however he's proven to be a reliable partner for Morgan Rielly and Kevin McGrann of The Toronto Star believes Hainsey's return is likely at a discount. Would you like to see Hainsey back in a Leafs' uniform next year?
