BREAKING Toronto Maple Leafs Announce 2018-19 Home Opener.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs announced the details of the 2018-19 home opener, including date and opponent on Wednesday. The Leafs will "welcome" the Montreal Canadiens once again as they'll drop the puck on October 3rd. Both teams will likely have made some interesting changes to their roster by the time October rolls around. We've also become aware that the Leafs will participate in the Chicago Blackhawks home opener which takes place on Sunday, October 7th. The full NHL schedule will be released on Thursday.
