"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas were one of the busiest teams this offseason.Even though Dubas barely had any cap space to work with, he was wheeling and dealing and brought in some new faces while moving out some familiar ones. Before Dubas sent forward Andreas Johnsson to the New Jersey Devils, it seems he could have been on his way to Florida instead. During the most recent edition of the "31 Thoughts" podcast with Elliotte Friedman, the NHL insider revealed the details of a trade between the Leafs and Panthers that fell through. Friedman adds that the Dubas had been eyeing Weegar for awhile and it might be hard to acquire him now considering how well the 27 year old is playing. Would you have made this deal?
