Dreger Reports Teams Already Preparing Offer Sheets For Marner.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs have two huge contracts they need to hand out this summer. Both Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner will require new deals as they become RFA. According to both Matthews and general manager Kyle Dubas, the two sides are trying to get a deal done before the trade deadline. As for Marner, Dubas has confirmed his agents won't talk contract until the season is over. That could put the Leafs in a dangerous spot. NHL insider Darren Dreger reports that teams "are 100% preparing an offer sheet" for Marner. Dreger did add that the Leafs plan to match any offer sheet Marner could sign. The last player to sign an offer sheet was Ryan O'Reilly while a member of the Colorado Avalanche signed an offer sheet with the Calgary Flames which the Avs matched in 2013.
