Any sort of sports fandom is fun. Who doesn't enjoy dressing up in your favourite gear and taking in a live experience at an NHL or NBA arena, an MLB part or an NFL stadium? Having said that, though, sometimes fans can get a little too eccentric and go a little overboard.
Fans pay good money to watch hockey games, and from time to time, you'll find some pretty unique custom jerseys out there. However, this fan may have officially crossed the line, wearing a Bruins jersey covered in Maple Leafs patches and a huge Maple Leafs crest covering the Bruins logo on the chest.
There's creativity and then there's insanity. This custom job probably ticked off two fan bases at once. I'm not sure that was his intent, but I don't think you'll find too many people in Boston or Toronto who are going to give him a thumbs up or a high-five for that abomination. Honestly... look at this thing!
Coming into tonight's game, the Leafs and Bruins are deadlocked in a 1-1 series tie in what very well could he a full 7-game series. Hopefully, if this fan has any plans of attending another game, he'll use his better judgment to leave that hack job of a jersey at home.
