The Toronto Maple Leafs dropped a tough game last night to the Edmonton Oilers that didn't involve much defense. The lack of defense got Frederik Andersen pulled from the game in favour of Michael Hutchinson. Head coach Sheldon Keefe explained after the game that it wasn't because of Andersen's performance but because of the poor defensive performance in front of him. Andersen vented a bit of frustration when speaking to the media stating how the team needs to stick together defensively for the best results. "We get into trouble if we don't support each other. We need to stick together more. Even though it's been a good stretch for us, we can't expect it to go our way every night."
