The Toronto Maple Leafs are getting closer and closer to training camp, however it doesn't look like the Leafs are any closer to a contract with William Nylander. The restricted free agent remains unsigned, and while it's not necessarily massively alarming, it will become a topic of conversation once camp opens. Ideally for Kyle Dubas and Leafs management, Nylander accepts a bridge deal so Dubas can still make some big moves over the next two years, however Nylander is likely looking for stability and something long term. Lance Hornby of the Toronto Sun believes that Nylander is likely looking for something similar to David Krejci's six year deal worth $40million that works out to an AAV of $6.67million. The 22 year old might not have gotten as much attention as Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner over the last year, but he's still been able to register 135 points in 185 total games.Would you be willing to give Nylander this type of contract?
