"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas were the first team to make a significant move coming out of the All-Star break. Dubas got an early jump on the rest of the league as he landed defenseman Jake Muzzin from the Los Angeles Kings. Muzzin is a two time Stanley Cup champ and will definitely add a lot to the locker room and on the ice. To top it off, as a native of Woodstock, Muzzin is coming home so to speak. "It's kind of funny how life works. Here we are and I'm coming back home to play for the team I rooted for growing up." Coming out of the break, the phone call really caught him off guard but he's excited. "I was a little shocked to get the phone call. Very excited to join Toronto, I was thinking about just playing them [with LA], how we got beat [twice], and i was like 'damn,' so now to be a part of that team, I'm real excited for the opportunity"
