Toronto Marlies have officially come to terms with 30 year-old AHL star Joseph Blandisi on a new contract.

The Toronto Maple Leafs continue a busy offseason for the organization, this time by coming to terms on a one-year AHL contract with Toronto Marlies star Joseph Blandisi.

Blandisi had an impressive season with the Marlies in 2023-24, leading the team in points with 59 points in 70 games. Known for his tenacity, he also accumulated 110 penalty minutes.

Entering his fourth year with the Marlies, Blandisi has been a key player for the organization since joining the team. He could also serve as a depth player for the Maple Leafs, given his experience in the NHL, having produced 31 points in 101 NHL games with the New Jersey Devils, Anaheim Ducks, and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Don't be surprised if the former 6th-round pick becomes a top player for the Marlies once again, continuing his role as a mentor for younger players who may still be developing.
