"The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Montreal Canadiens tonight which could be a preview of their first round playoff matchup. What's going to be interesting tonight is that both starting goalies will be sidelined as Frederik Andersen continues to be sidelined and Carey Price stayed back in Montreal as he's dealing with a lingering injury. We'll probably get a Jack Campbell vs Jake Allen showdown however that's yet to be confirmed. The news has been slow regarding Andersen as he keeps getting "opinions" on his injury, doesn't suit up and hasn't been placed on injured reserve. So what's the latest?Head coach Sheldon Keefe said that Andersen had another follow up but the results aren't known yet. "No update. He had another follow up but I haven't gotten the update yet." Any concern the goalie is done for the season?"No concern."Are you at all concerned about the lack of transparency regarding the Andersen injury or that Keefe doesn't even know the results of a recent follow up?
Keefe says no update Andersen. He had another follow-up but hasn't seen the results yet. Says there is «no concern» when asked if his lower-body injury could keep him out for the remainder of the season — David Alter (@dalter) April 7, 2021
