The Toronto Maple Leafs don't play again until Friday as they enjoy a couple of days off but were back on the ice today for practice. After a bunch of roster moves made by general manager Kyle Dubas over the last two days, head coach Sheldon Keefe presented some new lines at practice. First and foremost, Wayne Simmonds was back on the ice with the full group and practicing on the fourth line with Pierre Engvall and Wayne Simmonds. However the big surprise cam in the top six. After being called up from the Marlies, forward Alex Galchenyuk was in a regular jersey and skating on the second line with John Tavares and William Nylander. Dubas and the Leafs are hoping to unlock the potential Galchenyuk showed a couple of years ago with the Montreal Canadiens. However Galchenyuk wasn't able to find that magic alongside Evgeni Malkin so he's still a bit of a dice roll. The line shuffling meant Zach Hyman dropped in the lineup as well and is now on the third line.
