"It's an interesting time across the NHL at the moment. There's been lots of activity as some European players have decided to head back to Europe for next season, while others have decided to make the jump to North America. Maybe it's because there's no other news, but it definitely feels like there's been more bouncing back and forth than usual. One of the latest decisions comes from a player in the Leafs' organization. Leafs' 2019 7th round pick, Kalle Loponen, has decided to leave the OHL's Sudbury Wolves and head to Finland. Loponen will join Karpat, one of the top Finnish teams, for next season. The defenseman registered 24 points which included six goals in 56 games last season.
