The Toronto Maple Leafs are still looking to strengthen their front office after losing Mark Hunter and Lou Lamoriello over the last week. After hiring Laurence Gilman and promoting Brandon Pridham to assistant general managers, the team is still looking to add some senior advisors. Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek threw out some names on their 31 Thoughts podcast, of course the duo couldn't resist bringing up somebody who's connected to John Tavares, Wes Clark. Clark worked with Dubas in Sault Ste. Marie, was an amateur scout with the Florida Panthers and as Marek mentions "is tight with John Tavares".The duo also quoted one executive as naming Sean Burke, Mike Futa, Scott Howson and Bill Armstrong and Rob DiMaio as possible names. The name of former Hurricanes GM Ron Francis was brought up too.
