The Toronto Maple Leafs added the veteran presence and some grit that many believe they need to be successful in the playoffs. Jason Spezza was brought back while the team signed Wayne Simmonds, Joe Thornton upfront and added TJ Brodie and Zach Bogosian on the back end. However they might not be finished. Before the Leafs signed Thornton, we heard lots of speculation that the team could sign Corey Perry. However it seemed like the Perry talk was dead once Thornton was signed, but that might not be over. According to Dave Poulin of TSN, the best move for Perry is still to sign with the Leafs. They could possibly rotate between Perry, Spezza and Thornton keeping them fresh for the playoffs with some "load management". Only problem is that the Leafs have no cap space and some maneuvering would have to be done. General manager Kyle Dubas has proven he can get around any cap problems before so if the two sides really want to hook up, it'll get done. Would you like to see Perry added to the Leafs or is that overdoing it with the veteran presence?
