Maple Leafs forward Max Domi has officially joined ex-captain John Tavares as an ambassador for a mysterious healing amulet with a plethora of health claims.
Tavares received quite a bit of backlash from this partnership when originally announced earlier this year. The amulet, from the company Airestech, claims to offer healing powers and the ability to block harmful Wi-Fi and 5G radiation, as well as the ability to heal wounds.
Having recently recovered from an injury, Domi's comeback has raised an interesting question: Could his recovery time have been shortened by the supposed healing effects of the amulet, or was it the natural healing process?
The Maple Leafs snapped a two-game losing streak on Tuesday with a surprising 2-1 overtime win against the New Jersey Devils, led by some incredible goaltending from Anthony Stolarz, and a speculator breakaway goal by Auston Matthews in OT
The Maple Leafs are back in action on Thursday night, hosting the Anaheim Ducks at Scotiabank Arena. We don't yet know if Bobby McMann and Jake McCabe will be in the lineup, but we do know, amulets or not, that Tavares and Domi will suit up for the Leafs.
