The Toronto Maple Leafs are currently looking to get things back on track as they're in the middle of a three game losing streak. Despite going undefeated the first time superstar forward Auston Matthews missed a couple of games, they're struggling this time around. In regards to Matthews, there was a sprinkle of hope as even though he didn't practice with his teammates on Monday, he did skate on his own prior to practice for the second time in a row. With Matthews not expected back Tuesday, Leafs head coach Mike Babcock made some changes to the lineup. William Nylander has been moved to center of the "first line" with Patrick Marleau to his left and Zach Hyman to his right. Josh Leivo was the extra forward while Kasperi Kapanen skated on the fourth line with Matt Martin and Dominic Moore. On the blueline Connor Carrick skated with Jake Gardiner, Carrick hasn't played since November 24th. Martin Marincin was the extra defenseman with Carrick in the top six.
