The Toronto Maple Leafs will likely be looking for an upgrade and/or change at their third line center position. Alexander Kerfoot has been listed as a likely trade candidate so who will take over the roll. Luke Fox of Sportsnet covered the subject during a recent mailbag. Fox was suggested by a reader that the Leafs acquire Nick Bonino of the Nashville Predators. Fox believes he'd be a perfect fit on the ice and off the ice as Bonino has only one more year on his contract at an AAV of $4.1million. The Preds' are trying to shed salary but there's obviously been no takers for Kyle Turris. Nashville could save a bit of cash by flipping Bonino for Kasperi Kapanen, Andreas Johnsson or Kerfoot. Bonino registered 18 goals in 67 games this past season and 17 goals in 81 games last year. Would you like to see Bonino as the Leafs' third line center?
