Oilers fan makes her first public appearance since flashing incident
The Oilers fan who went viral after flashing the crowd during Game 6 in the Western Conference Finals has made her first public appearance since the incident.
It's still uncertain whether her name is Kait or Kate, but at any rate, the crew at Spittin' Chiclets had the wild and free-spirited Oilers fan on the podcast this week to discuss the event that made her famous.
Kate had revealed that upon first seeing the video, she had Twitter remove it as she was clearly inebriated and didn't have her sense about her when she bared her body to the world. Unfortunately, she also revealed that the video has survived, reminding us that in the age of the internet, there are no more secrets.
Out of respect for Kate, we won't share the clip here, as it's been spread around more than enough already. Every fan, even the ones who go a little wild at times, have their right to privacy, but that certainly didn't stop Kate from also confirming what many out there had been pondering over; are they real or fake? Here's what she had to say on the subject.
Obviously, this story has taken on a life of its own of late, and per the most recent report, Kate is believed to have deleted all of her social media accounts as a means of trying to escape the chaos that has befallen her in light of the recent event.
Hopefully in time she'll be able to forget all about this and move on with her life. In the meantime, people are going to do what people to, and that's talk about it.
