Rangers defenceman Jacob Trouba receiving a two-minute minor penalty for a vicious elbow on Evan Rodrigues drew lots of reaction from around the hockey world.
That includes current ESPN hockey analyst PK Subban, who is known for being very vocal.
They say if you can't take it then don't dish it out in the first place, and New York Post Hockey Writer Larry Brooks had a comeback up his sleeve.
One thing PK Subban has that Larry Brooks doesn't is a 834-game NHL career that spanned 13 seasons, and with that comes extra perspective.
Trouba has a reputation for being a heavy hitter, even if they don't all land. This attempt on
Martin Necas in game two against Carolina could be another example of his intentions.
Though some may think the penalty for the hit is unjust, he received a $5,000 fine, which is the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
