There continues to be plenty of speculation regarding what the Toronto Maple Leafs will do this offseason to improve the roster and create cap space at the same time. Patrick Marleau, Nikita Zaitsev, Connor Brown and Nazem Kadri are all names we've been hearing could be moved this offseason. Recently we heard rumours regarding the Flyers showing interest in Kadri, now it seems another Metropolitan Division could be showing interest in Kadri. According to Andy Graziano of WFAN in New York, the Islanders could make a push to try and land Kadri. Unlike other trade suggestions though, this one wouldn't be a salary cap dump as Graziano has Lou Lamoriello sending Nick Leddy to the Leafs in exchange for Kadri. The 28 year old Leddy has three years left on his deal at $5.5million a season and saw his production almost completely cut in half last season. After three straight seasons of 40 points and back to back seasons of 10 plus goals, Leddy registered four goals and 26 points last season. Would you make this trade to bolster the Leafs' blueline?
