The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas are likely to do something before the trade deadline. Dubas has the Leafs' bye week to think things over and figure out exactly how to either land an upgrade to back up Frederik Andersen or get some depth on the blueline. Right now it seems adding a defenseman might be the smarter play with Morgan Rielly out eight weeks. According to Sportsnet's Elliote Friedman, the team might already have a target. Over the weekend Friedman reported that the Leafs have had discussions and are kicking tires on San Jose Sharks defenseman Brendan Dillon. The 6'4" lefty will be UFA after this season and while he won't replace Rielly's offensive production, he'll definitely be able to eat up Rielly's minutes. Dillon has averaged 19 minutes of ice time per game so far this season and currently plays on the Sharks' top pairing beside Brent Burns. The Leafs don't have any cap space to bring in Dillon's $3.2million cap hit, so the team would likely have to give up one of Kasperi Kapanen, Andreas Johnsson or Alex Kerfoot to make the move. Do you think he'd be a good fit on the Leafs?
