"After placing goalie Michael Hutchinson on waivers, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking for solution for their backup goalie position. Hutchinson couldn't get it going for the Leafs and was only able to register a 4.44 goals against average and .879 save percentage. For now the Leafs will go with Kasimir Kaskisuo who they called up from the AHL and had a 2.13 goals against average and .928 save percentage for the Marlies. However if that doesn't work out, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports that the Leafs are currently in soft talks with Scott Darling. Darling decided to head over to Austria this season where he's only played one game and gave up four goals and put up a .902 save percentage. Do you think he could be a solution for the backup position?
