The Toronto Maple Leafs have been pretty quiet over the last couple of weeks as they seem to be done with free agency. However they could have another big move up their sleeve. Defenseman Zdeno Chara doesn't seem to be finding any common ground with the Boston Bruins regarding a new contract and the possibilities that he signs with a new team seems very likely. According to Bruins' insider Jimmy Murphy the Leafs are one of the teams showing interest in the defenseman. Murphy reports that the Bruins and Chara are super far apart on any sort of contract and Chara has received interest from the Leafs, New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning. Chara's currently in no rush to sign a new contract as he's waiting for the details on the new season to be complete before he makes a decision. The 43 year old is coming off a one year deal worth $2million. Do you think he would be a good fit for the Leafs' blueline?
