"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas are trying to move Zach Hyman before he hits free agency and there's no shortage of interest. It was reported earlier today that the Leafs have given Hyman and his agent permission to talk to other teams and it's been very busy. According to Maple Leafs' insider Kevin McGran, the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks have already made serious offers for Hyman and are the front runners. Meanwhile the Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings are also making a push for the winger. McGran adds that Hyman hasn't closed the door on the Leafs but would want an 8 year deal that features a full no movement clause if the Leafs can only offer a $5million AAV. Hyman has already received offers way over $5million AAV so it's unlikely anything gets done with the Leafs last minute.
