"While many people are focused on what the Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas will be doing during the offseason, there's still some worry regarding captain John Tavares. The Leafs' captain of course left the ice on a stretcher during a very scary situation during the team's first round matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Tavares gave fans an update after he was discharged from hospital but we hadn't heard from him since. After being silent for awhile, Tavares took to instagram to give another update. "Hi everybody, my son Axton here wanted to join in saying hi and sending a little message. My recovery keeps going really, really well. Keep getting better everyday especially as I spend time with him and his brother. It's been a lot of fun."You can check out the video below:
