Even this year with the Maple Leafs playing and well and the Senators struggling, Ottawa has played their best hockey against Toronto. The Senators won the first two games of the season series and had a 3-1 lead heading into the third period before the Maple Leafs made a late comeback. They have scored 13 goals in the three games which is a much better output then their 2.6 goals per game average on the season. Ottawa gets a boost to their lineup tonight as Mark Stone has been activated off of injured reserve and will return to action after missing the last nine games. Even with the absence, Stone still leads the Senators in goals and points. He has two goals and five points versus the Leafs this year. The only lineup change Babcock will make comes on the third defensive pairing as Connor Carrick will replace Roman Polak. Carrick had the game winning goal in the January 20 win over the Senators.
