Update Regarding Defenseman Cody Ceci.
"The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Vancouver Canucks tonight at ScotiaBank Arena in what is sure to be an entertaining game. Both teams are right in the thick of it making a playoff push and the all Canadian matchup shouldn't disappoint.What didn't disappoint on Thursday luckily was the Leafs' defensive core which was basically a Marlies lineup. With Morgan Rielly, Jake Muzzin and Cody Ceci all sidelined, fans were nervous about what might happen but the group showed up and helped beat the Florida Panthers. On Saturday we got a bit of an update regarding Ceci. Ceci told Kristen Shilton of TSN that he's not ready to return yet but could be ahead of schedule. «It's moving along pretty good. [Morning skate] was a nice step for me.»
