Toronto Maple Leafs' forward Zach Hyman was on his way to another great season before he was taken down. With 33 points in 42 games, Hyman was taken out by Vancouver Canucks' defenseman Alex Edler with a very controversial hit. The hit basically ended Hyman's season but he's been working hard and hit the ice with his teammates for the first time. There's a good chance he could be ready for the playoffs but off course being a significant knee injury, they're going to be very cautious with him.Hyman met with the media and spoke about the hit for the first time. "I don't know. It was a while back now. I think I got around them and it could be just a reaction play. But it doesn't really matter. All that matters is that I'm close to returning and happy to be right around the corner." Hyman is just happy to be back on the ice. "Great to be back on the ice. Anytime I talk to you guys, it means I'm a step closer to returning so it's always good. I feel great. I feel really strong out there." What do you think of Hyman's comments?
