The Toronto Maple Leafs made a big change this summer when they removed Lou Lamoriello from the general manager position and let him walk to the New York Islanders. Toronto decided to name Kyle Dubas as the Leafs next GM and lost Mark Hunter in the process. With the Toronto Marlies currently gearing up for the Calder Cup finals, it definitely at least at the moment looks like the Leafs made the right choice. Under Lamoriello there were some changes made in regards to the attitude and culture around the team, including the famous no beard rule, can we expect some more changes under Dubas, Leafs forward Zach Hyman commented on what to expect while talking to Sportsnet. «I don't think anyone's going to test it right now,» Hyman said with a laugh. «I'm clean shaven right now — I think we're all status quo until we hear otherwise. I mean, I think it's just part of the culture, so I think the culture's just going to stay the same.» Hyman also mentioned the team will still have the same swagger and confidence for Dubas that they did for Lou. «Kyle's been in this situation before with the Marlies,» Hyman said. «He has experience with that, and a lot of the guys who are on the Leafs now played for Kyle [on] the Marlies. … So, I think that it's going to stay relatively the same. Obviously, Kyle will have his own imprint on the team and everything like that, but from our perspective as players, we just go out there and we're doing the same thing that we've been doing for the past couple years.» What do you think of Hyman's comments?
