There are a lot of opinions about whether or not what happened during last night's Game 4 did or did not warrant a too many men penalty call on the Kadri game-winner, but so far, most of the comments I've seen are labeling Tampa head coach Jon Cooper as a bit of a crybaby.

In case you missed it, Nazem Kadri had jumped onto the ice while Nathan MacKinnon was making his way to the bench, but before he had fully left the ice, Kadri had already scored the game-winner. MacKinnon was not involved in the play and was clearly not impeding any Tampa players as he skated towards the Avs bench. Further to this, Tampa had two additional players on the ice, headed to their bench at the time of the goal as well - something Avs head coach Jared Bednar brought up when commenting on Cooper's thoughts.

I saw it. I thought it was nothing, honestly. I thought that happens every second shift in the entire game.

That's part of the game. It's a fluid game. You're changing on the fly, everything happens. You look at that clip, you back that clip up and I did multiple times already to see what exactly what they were talking about and Tampa's got two guys jumping on with their D coming off the ice from a zone away. I count 7-6 at one point. So that is what it is. That's the way the game is played. I don't see it as a break or a non-break. I actually see it as nothing.

Whether we agree with the call or not, the end result is the same. Game 5 back in Denver on Friday night with the Avs owning a 3-1 series lead. If the Bolts want any shot at a 3-peat, they're going to have to come out firing on all cylinders on Friday, or risk having their playoff series streak snapped and heading home empty handed this summer.
