Drafted in the 2nd round (37th overall) of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, right-shot defenseman Jett Woo is not the biggest defenseman around, at 6'0 and a little over 200 lbs, but boy does he seem to know how to throw his weight around.

During the third period of a Friday night matchup between the San Diego Gulls and the Abbotsford Canucks, Woo came across the ice and caught a streaking Gulls winger trying to drive the net with his head down. The result was one of the nastiest hits of the year.

The hit was completely clean, but absolutely devastating. The Winnipeg native has yet to play any NHL games but has 72 games of AHL experience under his belt. He has just 1 assist through 5 games for AHL Abbotsford this season.
