The NHL Draft can be a nerve-racking time as a prospect, not knowing where you're going to end up until your name is called. However, when someone says your first name and forgets your last name, it can also create a moment of embarrassment as well.

Carey Price, long-time Montreal Canadiens netminder and former 5th overall pick, was in Nashville along with the Habs to help make the team's 5th overall selection. As it happens, Price probably wishes that he stayed home right about now, because when he stepped up to announce the Canadiens' pick, he wound up on the blooper reel.

To be fair, Price was already trying to remember the lines that he was meant to speak in French right before announcing the pick. Unfortunately for Price, the pick was an Austrian player with an unfamiliar last name in David Reinbacher.

Price choking here was just about the funniest thing we, as Leaf fans, could have asked for. But also, there's another layer of hilarity here as the Habs passed up on Matvei Michkov and Ryan Leonard to select Reinbacher at 5th overall. Nothing against Reinbacher, but he simply wasn't the best player available at 5th overall.
