Flames fan trolls Evander Kane in the funniest way imaginable
Emotions run at their highest point during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, both for the players and their fans. As the hockey gets more intense, so too do the chirps and troll jobs. On Friday, one Calgary Flames fan showed just how ruthless fans can be.
During Game 2, a Flames fan donning a Johnny Gaudreau jersey approached the Edmonton Oilers' bench and tried to get the attention of Oilers winger Evander Kane before dropping a $5 bill over the glass while shouting what sounds like "Kane, Kane, you need this, here you go!"
This is of course in reference to the financial troubles that Evander Kane had found himself in over the past couple of seasons, which ultimately led to the 30-year-old declaring bankruptcy.
The Oilers got the last laugh in this one though, as they skated away with a 5-3 victory in Calgary, effectively taking home ice away from the Flames and bringing the series back to Edmonton for Games 3 and 4 with the series currently tied 1-1.
