We all know that hockey players are some of the toughest customers out there. These guys are warriors who endure and play through some of the nastiest injuries out there, but what former Jets captain Blake Wheeler played through recently is simply unfathomable.

Per The Athletic, during a game against the Nasvhille Predators in Winnipeg on December 15th, Wheeler took a puck in a very sensitive area thanks to a shot from teammate Josh Morrissey that actually ruptured one of his testicles. Wheeler played the rest of the game, racking up over 18 and a half minutes in the contest. What's more? His comment on the injury was absolutely sensational.

"I've got three beautiful kids, we're not having any more, so what the hell."

-Wheeler on suffering a ruptured testicle on December 15th

Now, fellas - if you've ever advertently or inadvertently been hit in the testicles before, and I'm sure most of us have on multiple occasions, you'll know just how painful that can be even without rupturing anything. I don't know about you, but I have a whole new level of respect for Wheeler after hearing about this one.
