Former Leafs goaltender fires a shot at Habs fans on social media

On Friday, Bodog Canada, a popular Canadian betting platform, asked fans to rank their top 10 most annoying fanbases overall. Bodog listed the Dallas Cowboys fans as the number one most annoying fanbase in all of pro sports, but listed the Leafs very close behind them at number 2, making the Buds the most annoying fanbase in hockey - at least in their eyes.

A former Leafs goaltender decided to chime in and revealed who he felt was the most annoying fanbase in pro sports. He didn't even need to list 10. He only needed two words to solidify #1 with a bullet. "Montreal Canadiens".

Raycroft only played parts of two seasons for the Leafs, but it wasn't the fans who soured him on Toronto. It was the media. In terms of fan expectations in Toronto, sure they're high. 54 years of losing will do that. But the players, even after they're gone, typically don't have a lot of bad things to say about the fans, often applauding the Leafs' fanbase as one of the most passionate fanbases in the league.

I agree with Razor, though. Some Habs fans can be pretty obnoxious. Like any fanbase, there are some good ones, but if I had to rank the top 10 most annoying fanbases, they'd likely top my list as well.
