The slippery slope continues for former Toronto Maple Leafs and current Edmonton Oilers goaltender, Jack Campbell. After being placed on waivers, going unclaimed, and then reporting to the AHL's Bakersfield Condors, Campbell has struggled beyond belief, being on the hook for more goals allowed in half the amount of games in comparison to his counterparts.

In just 3 games with the Bakersfield Condors, Campbell has allowed 13 goals and holds an awful .819 SV%, stopping just 59 of the 72 shots fired his way. The rest of the Bakersfield goaltenders have allowed a combined 10 goals against in 6 games.

Top prospect Olivier Rodrigue is 2-0-0 with a 1.00 G.A.A and a .968 SV% while veteran Calvin Pickard was 2-2-0 with a 2.03 G.A.A and a .939 SV% before his call-up to the big leagues to replace Campbell.

The goaltending issues have persisted for the Edmonton Oilers and they finally had enough with their struggling $25M goaltender as he sported a 1-4-0 record, a 4.50 G.A.A, and a .873 SV%. If this was an outlier start for Campbell, that would be one thing, but he held a 3.41 G.A.A and a .888 SV% last year as well, despite posting a 21-9-4 record. To be posting even worse numbers in the AHL is baffling.
