Saturday night saw the Maple Leafs finally win a game in regulation and only give up two goals. The Leafs beat the Vancouver Canucks 5-2 at Scotiabank Arena before leaving for Sweden and the NHL's Global Series, which will take place this weekend.

Saturday's game was the first of the season without Ryan Reaves in the lineup, who was replaced by Bobby McMann on the fourth line. McMann's addition to the fourth line seemed to spark them as they contributed two goals, McMann assisting on both. Now in Sweden, the Leafs took to the ice for practice at 6:30am ET and appeared to be using the same forward group from Saturday's win.

All four lines remained together and Reaves was skating as the thirteenth forward signifying that he will likely be a scratch for Friday's game against Detroit. On the back end, the Leafs got a surprise as Conor Timmins, who was injured during the pre-season, joined for his first full practice of the season. John Klingberg, who missed Friday's game against Calgary with "injury" but played Saturday, missed his third straight practice.

With Timmins in and Klingberg out, the Leafs kept their top pairing of Morgan Rielly and T.J. Brodie together while Mark Giordano and Jake McCabe skated together on the second pair. The third pairing saw William Lagesson alongside Simon Benoit with Timmins as the seventh defenseman.

Martin Jones also joined the Leafs for his first practice with the team this season as he was brought to Sweden as the third goalie. There is no indication of who will start for either of the Leafs' games this weekend, but it is likely that we see Joseph Woll and Ilya Samsonov each play one game.
