It's been a long half-week for Leaf fans, as the team has not played since Saturday and there's still a couple of days left until the Leafs take on the Detroit Red Wings in Stockholm, Sweden as a part of the NHL's 2023 Global Series.

The Leafs arrived in Stockholm on Tuesday, and between the scores of reporters present in Sweden for the event and the Maple Leafs' social media team, we're getting a nice look at the trip so far.

Some members of the team took in the BÖRJE Premiere, a film made following the passing of the late Börje Salming:

Mats Sundin was present at the Premiere as well:

The Leafs were back at practice this morning with power play drills being one of the primary focuses:

On day two of the trip, William Nylander stops for a quick photo op with a young Swedish fan on his way to practice:

Once the trip to Sweden wraps up, the Leafs will head back to North America on Monday, but won't play again until next Friday. Unfortunately, the schedule-makers didn't cut the Leafs any slack when creating the schedule, as the Buds will head out on a two-game road trip with stops in Chicago and Pittsburgh before returning to Toronto on November 28th to take on the Florida Panthers for their first home game since Remembrance Day.
