Jacob Trouba crushes Anthony Cirelli in open ice
The New York Rangers have the Tampa Bay Lightning in an unfamiliar position, down 2-0 in their Eastern Conference Final series and headed back to Tampa with nothing to show for their efforts and only their hats in their hands.
Game 2 was a lot closer than Game 1, but despite a late push, the Bolts just could not sneak the equalizer past Igor Shesterkin, losing 3-2 in regulation time.
The Bolts outshot and outhit the Rangers in the contest, but it was Jacob Trouba, once again, who was throwing his weight around - this time on Anthony Cirelli midway through the third period. Trouba stepped up on Cirelli as he was trying to gain the zone entry. What a hit this was! (And a clean one, I might add)
