John Tortorella does not hold back, tells the media exactly what he thinks of the questions he's being asked
John Tortorella is one of the most outspoken NHL coaches and has been for years. He has never been afraid to say exactly what he's thinking, especially when it's to the media. Even if it means telling them that their questions are dumb and that they should ask better questions.
I'm sure multiple coaches and players have felt similarly about the questions they were being asked. It's just not super common to see reporters be faced with so much sass - with the exception of when it's coming from Tortorella.
This clip of Torts comes just two days after Ian Cole scored a ridiculous goal against Carter Hart in Tampa's 4-1 win over Philly on Thursday. You know what goal I'm talking about.
Hockey fans knew that Torts wouldn't be thrilled about such a play against his goalie and went on to say this during post-game availability.
Of course, what we see in the media could be drastically different from how he is in the dressing room.
