Less than 24 hours after a disappointing OT loss to the Colorado Avalanche, the Leafs are in Vegas, eagerly awaiting their first and only visit to T-Mobile Arena this season.

There were a couple of notable absences at practice on Sunday, as forward Auston Matthews and goaltender Jack Campbell were not on the ice on Sunday, sparking some concern among the fanbase that one or both may have been injured on Saturday.

Following practice, Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed that both Matthews and Campbell received maintenance days on Sunday, which was certainly a relief for the members within Leafs Nation who may have been worried.

Word has it that Ondrej Kase skated prior to Leafs practice as well, as he works his way back from an injury suffered earlier this week during a pre-practice gym session.

Since he has not yet skated with the main group, it is highly unlikely that Kase will be given the green light against Vegas on Tuesday. He skated briefly on Saturday as well, but appeared to he laboring and did not remain on the ice long.
