After confusing the media during yesterday's game day skate by having Matt Murray in the starter's net, but having Ilya Samsonov leave practice first, Sheldon Keefe confirmed his starter right after beating the Wings. He confirmed that Murray would be starting Sunday night's tilt against the Flyers.

Murray has alternated wins and losses over his last 3 outings, but his two losses have been two of his worst performances of the season. Posting .810 and .808 save percentages in losses to Arizona and Seattle, while sandwiching a .929 save percentage between the two. Murray is due for a bounce back game against the Flyers tonight.

In 12 games against the Flyers Murray is 5-2-2 with a .928 save percentage, so tonight's game is the perfect opportunity for him to get back into form. While his overall record and individual stats have seen a bit of a dip in recent weeks, Murray still owns a respectable 9-4-2 record with a 2.61 GAA and a .913 SV% through 15 appearances this season.
