During last night's game against the Detroit Red Wings in Toronto, Mitch Marner scored from a very tight angle in the 2nd period to tie the game up at 1-1, securing the 500th point of his career in the process.

Auston Matthews went straight to the net to dig Marner's 500th point puck out and proceeded to skate over the the boards and fake-toss the puck over the glass, fooling even the camera man, who thought that Auston had actually tossed it into the crowd.

Following the game, Marner revealed that the trend of fake-tossing milestone pucks was actually started by the team's resident sh*t-disturber, Michael Bunting. Leave it to Bunts to have some fun at his teammate's expense and leave it to Matthews to follow suit on Saturday night.

Matthews, Marner and Bunting are all very close, so it's no surprise that they'd do this to one another for a laugh. After all, boys will be boys.
